Growth in Online marketing set to remain steady in 2009
The latest research and marketing studies reports for 2009 have started to come out. Online marketing experts have been waiting impatiently to see the impact the so called credit crunch is bound to have on the different online marketing fields. It is also a time when businesses re-evaluate their budgets allocations for 2009.
eMarketer. Com, a leading source in the US for compiling marketing trends and information, are predicting total online spending to grow steadily at 8.9% in the US. Similar trends are likely to be reflected in UK and Europe.
According to eMarketer’s report for the US in 2009:
- Search marketing spending will grow by 14.9% to $12.3 billion.
- Search marketing spending will grow by 14.9% to $12.3 billion.
- Total US Internet ad spending will increase to $25.7 billion at an 8.9% growth rate.
The new studies for 2009 show a significant growth in online marketing compared to the rest of traditional media which has been affected negatively by the credit crunch.
